Why Headwaters?
When we think about the source of a river, the Headwaters, we think about its health and viability. If the source has been somehow contaminated or polluted, all that is touched as the river flows from there will be negatively affected. Reversely, if the source is vibrant and full of things needed for sustaining life, all that is touched as the river flows past will be positively affected. Specifically, in the school, our desire is that students would devote this particular season to the substance of their ‘headwaters’. Looking at both the contents of our heart (‘Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.’ Proverbs 4:23) and our image of the true source, our Father (‘I am the vine: you are the branches.’ John 15:1).
Headwaters Discipleship Program
Ages 19-30
Headwaters Discipleship is a two month intensive program focused on creating opportunities for young adults to have burning heart experiences (Luke 24:32) with Jesus, so that they will grow in spiritual maturity and learn to remain connected to Him in every season of their lives.
This experience is for young adults hungry for more—more of God, more freedom,
and more clarity in their identity and purpose.
This isn’t just another program; it’s an intentional season set apart to break free from what holds you back and step into the fullness of who God created you to be. In a close-knit community, we’ll dive into questions like “Who does God say I am?” and “Who do I say He is?”—not just in theory, but in a way that transforms our everyday lives.
As we surrender and grow, our ‘headwaters’—the source of everything that flows from our lives—begin to change. The weight of sin and struggle is replaced with the fruits of the Spirit, and our identity becomes deeply rooted in Christ.
This is an invitation to go deeper, heal, and step into a life of lasting connection—with God, with your own heart, and with the people around you. Are you ready?
